Encapsulated Within the Stainless Steel Metal Carrier, Enhanced Reliability
Improper manway sealing can result in a door gasket failure and significant  safety risks. The SteelTrap gasket technology is designed to encapsulate the graphite sealing elements within the stainless steel metal carrier, resulting in enhanced reliability. It is applicable for use in steam to (650˚C) 1200˚F and pressures to 415 bar g/6000 psig.
